After Village Theatre moved into the renovated Hudson Railway Station, Hudson Productions started producing shows independently and Hudson Productions actors started working with the Rigaud Customs and Excise College in simulations, posing as travelers to train border crossing personnel. In addition to continuing activities in these two areas, Hudson Productions offers acting classes which lead to possible participation in productions and in the simulation work and offers corporate entertainment in the Montreal and Ottawa areas. Simulations Hudson Productions currently has over 100 professioal actors under contract and these actors spend a total of about 1500 hours a month performing scenarios involving travellers entering Canada so that customs officer trainees can learn how to deal with different situations. Hudson Productions is always looking for professionaly trained actors to join this program. Productions Since 1993, Hudson Productions has produced more than 20 shows. While producing its own shows, the company is also a strong supporter of Heather Markgraf's professional non-profit theatre company, Theatre Panache and the company offers corporate entertainment such as dinner theatre and murder mysteries in the Montreal and Ottawa areas. |
